Eligibility & Use of Website
This website and its services are intended for use by individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age. By accessing or using this website, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding agreements under the laws of Jamaica.
Users agree to use this website for lawful purposes only and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit the use of this website by any third party.
Services
Road Ready Pickups provides a carnival costume courier service, including the pickup and delivery of costumes and related accessories from band houses, designers, or designated locations to clients.
All services are subject to availability and operational considerations, particularly during peak Carnival periods.
Payment Terms
All payments must be made in full at the time of booking. Accepted payment methods will be displayed on the website and may be updated from time to time.
Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed. Road Ready Pickups reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking where payment authorization fails or is disputed.
Refunds, Cancellations & Rescheduling
All services booked with Road Ready Pickups are non-refundable once confirmed. No refunds will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, or changes in personal circumstances.
Requests to reschedule must be submitted no later than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled pickup or delivery date. Rescheduling is subject to availability and is not guaranteed, particularly during peak Carnival periods. Requests made within forty-eight (48) hours of the scheduled service will not be accommodated.
In the event that Road Ready Pickups is unable to perform the service due to circumstances within its control, a refund or service credit will be issued at the company’s discretion.
Force Majeure
Road Ready Pickups shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its services where such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control. These include, but are not limited to, acts of God, adverse weather conditions, road closures, traffic restrictions, Carnival-related disruptions, band or designer delays, strikes, civil disturbances, government regulations, or any other force majeure event.
Limitation of Liability
While every reasonable effort is made to ensure the safe handling and delivery of costumes and accessories, Road Ready Pickups shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of enjoyment, missed events, or third-party delays.
Any liability, where proven, shall be limited to the total amount paid by the client for the affected service.
Insurance Disclaimer
Road Ready Pickups does not provide insurance coverage for carnival costumes or accessories unless expressly stated in writing. Clients are responsible for ensuring that their costumes are adequately insured prior to pickup.
Warranties & Service Disclaimer
All services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While reasonable care is taken in the provision of services, Road Ready Pickups makes no guarantees that services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from delays caused by third parties or external circumstances.
To the fullest extent permitted under Jamaican law, all implied warranties are disclaimed.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, branding, logos, graphics, images, and design elements, is the property of Road Ready Pickups and is protected under applicable intellectual property and copyright laws in Jamaica.
No content may be copied, reproduced, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
Account Suspension & Termination
Road Ready Pickups reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to its website or services, without notice, where a user is found to be in breach of these Terms & Conditions, engaged in fraudulent activity, or misusing the website or services.
Such suspension or termination shall not entitle the user to a refund.
Changes to Services & Terms
Road Ready Pickups reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of its services, pricing, or website content at any time.
These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Jamaica, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jamaica.
